ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NORTH HILLS DISTRICT PROJECT NO. 14004 NORTH HILLS MIDDLE SCHOOL FLOORING REPLACEMENT The North Hills District is receiving Bids on the following Contracts: Flooring Construction, Contract Number - 14004-1 The North Hills School District, the Owner, will receive separate sealed Bids for Construction Contracts on the above Project until the time and date and at the place scheduled below. The Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in the Board Room of the Administration Building. The clock in the Board Room will determine the Prevailing Time for the Receipt of Bids. The District invites any interested parties to attend. BID DUE DATE: April 16, 2014 TIME OF RECEIPT: 3:00 PM, Prevailing Time PLACE OF RECEIPT: North Hills School District District Administration Office, 135 Sixth Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15229 C/O, Mr. David Hall, Director of Finance and Operations Bidders may obtain one complete set of the Bidding Documents on CD by contacting Thomas & Williamson, 3270 Babcock Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237, Phone 412-630-9416. The Bidding Documents will also be available at the Pittsburgh Builders Exchange; Phone 412-922-4200. Non-refundable deposits for the first set of Bidding Documents are $25.00 per CD per project. This first set of Bidding Documents will be registered and secured by corporate or business check made out to "Thomas & Williamson." A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 3:00 PM on April 2, 2014 at the North Hills Middle School, 55 Rochester Road, PA 15229. After the Pre-Bid Conference, the Bidders will be permitted to inspect the building and site by a guided tour. Additional site visits may be arranged in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders (AIA Document A701 - 1997). A Bid Security Form in the amount of 10 percent of the Base Bid, Bidder's Qualification, Questionnaire Form, and Non-Collusion Affidavit must accompany each Bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
