LEGAL NOTICE CHARTIERS-HOUSTON SCHOOL DISTRICT BID ADVERTISEMENT On Thursday, May 15, 2014, the Chartiers-Houston School District will open sealed proposals marked "Bid on Boiler Replacement at the Allison Park Elementary School, 803 McGovern Road, Houston, PA 15342" received up to 1:00 P.M., to the attention of Donald L. Bennett, Business Manager, Chartiers-Houston School District, 2020 West Pike Street, Houston, PA 15342. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at 3:00 P.M., at Allison Park Elementary School. It is the intent of the Owner to enter into a single Mechanical Contract for the work. Bids shall conform with the Contract Documents prepared by the Office of HHSDR Architects/Engineers, 40 Shenango Avenue, Sharon, PA, 16146 (724) 981-8820, and 201 Century Building, 130 Seventh Street, Pittsburgh, PA, 15222 (412) 281-2280. Bidders may obtain same from HHSDR at the above Sharon office, upon the deposit of $150.00 refundable fee per set. Bids shall include a Bid Security Bond, payable to the Chartiers-Houston School District, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid; in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, as included in the Contract Documents. The Chartiers-Houston School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, when it is in the interest of the Chartiers-Houston School District and to reject the bid of any bidder who is not in a position to perform the Contract.
