OFFICIAL ROSS TOWNSHIP NOTICE The regular meeting of the Ross Township Zoning Hearing Board will be held at the Ross Township Municipal Building, 1000 Ross Municipal Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15237, on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. to review the following applications: ZHB-7-14 Subash Sethi requesting a dimensional variance to Chapter 27, Part 9, Section 908 of 8 feet, 8 inches to the left side yard for additional cooler space on property known as the Taj Mahal Restaurant located at 7795 McKnight Road in a C-1 Zoning District of the 8th Ward. ZHB-8-14 William Stockdill, Signs, Service & Crane, Inc. requesting a variance to Chapter 27, Part 16, Section 1608.1.B(2) for an additional 10.03 square feet of signage for Cosmo Prof located at 3160 McIntyre Square Drive in a C-1 Zoning District of the 9th Ward. ZHB-9-14 Accel Sign Group requesting a variance to Chapter 27, Part 16, Section 1608.1.B(2) and to Section 1608.1.B(4) for a 45 square foot increase to the maximum 100 square foot requirement for a wall sign for Harbor Freight on property located at 4780 McKnight Road in a C-1 Zoning District of the 1st Ward. ZHB-10-14 Michael McKain requesting a variance to Chapter 27, Part 9, Section 907 of 7'-10 3/8" to the left side yard setback for the purpose of deck replacement on property located at 1010 Homer Avenue in an R-2 Zoning District of the 5th Ward. ZHB-11-14 Adolfo J. Marche requesting the following variances to Chapter 27, Part 9, Section 907: an 8.68 foot variance to the lot width at setback; 10 foot and 2 foot variances to the side yard setback; and a 1,360 square foot variance to the lot area; and to Part 10: Section 1010.1.C(2) for a 5 foot height increase of an ornamental fence and to Section 1010.1.C(1) for a solid fence on vacant property on Evergreen Road (Lot & Block 430-G-15) in an R-1 Zoning District of the 8th Ward. ZHB-12-14 Jason Bourne requesting a variance to Chapter 27, Part 9, Section 907 of 3 feet to the left side yard setback for the purpose of an addition on property located at 337 Nichols Road in an R-1 Zoning District of the 1st Ward. ZHB-13-14 Ronald Smith requesting a variance to Chapter 27, Part 9, Section 907 of 5 feet to the rear yard setback for the purpose of constructing a deck on property located at 4477 Mt. Troy Road Ext. in an R-1 Zoning District of the 7th Ward Beth A. Schellhaas, Chairman
