Ross Township REQUEST FOR INSURANCE BROKERAGE SERVICES The Municipality is soliciting proposals for insurance brokerage services. Selected broker will immediately become broker of record and will market the coverage to interested insurance carriers for the 2014-15 renewal. Insurance coverage for this request includes: 1. Package - Property, Commercial General Liability, Crime, Inland Marine 2. Automobile 3. Public Officials Liability 4. Umbrella Liability 5. Boiler and Machinery 6. Law Enforcement Liability 7. Public Officials Bonds Sealed proposals must be received by 12pm, June 27th, 2014. The proposal can be dropped off or mailed to: 1000 Ross Municipal Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15237, to the attention of Douglas Sample, Township Manager. Please label the envelope with the following: Proposal for Insurance Brokerage Services. Broker proposals should include: -Their company's history and related experience with Pennsylvania Public Entities. - Their company's personnel and qualifications, and identification of those persons who will be responsible for handling/servicing our account. - Any additional broker services to be provided. - Evidence of Errors and Omissions coverage -References from three (3) Public Entity clients Those submitting proposals may be asked to attend interviews on the evening of Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014, time to be announced. It is the intent of Ross Township to appoint a broker of record at the July 7th, 2014 Board of Commissioners meeting. The successful broker must be able to solicit premium quotations from insurance carriers for the 2014-15 renewal. Successful broker will meet with Township staff Tuesday, July 8th, 2014 to review the application process. Please contact Douglas Sample, Township Manager, with any questions. 412-931-7055
