ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NORTH ALLEGHENY SCHOOL DISTRICT for REPLACEMENT of the CHILLER at Franklin Elementary School The North Allegheny School District is receiving bids on the following Contract; Replacement of the Chiller at Franklin Elem. School - Mechanical North Allegheny School District, the Owner, will receive separate sealed Bids for the construction contract on the above Project until the time and date and at the place scheduled below. The Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Conference Room of the Facilities/Transportation Offices. The clock in the Conference Room will determine prevailing time for receipt of bids. The District invites interested parties to attend. BID DUE DATE: December 13, 2013 PROJECT Replace Chiller at Franklin Elementary School BID DUE/OPENING TIME: 1:00 P.M., Prevailing Time PLACE OF RECEIPT: North Allegheny School District Transportation /Assets Department, Attn.: Mrs. Jaimie Nichols, Purchasing Manager PLACE OF OPENING: Facilities/Transportation Offices Conference Room, 400 Hillvue Lane, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 Bidders may obtain one complete set of the Bidding Documents for this Project by contacting the North Allegheny Facilities Department, North Allegheny School District, 400 Hillvue Lane, Pittsburgh, PA 15237, (412) 369-5432. A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 per set is required for this project, and must be in the form of a corporate, or business check made payable to "North Allegheny School District" and brought to the Facilities Department at North Allegheny School District Facilities/Transportation Office. If the bidding documents are to be mailed the deposit amount will be $75.00 for this project and the contractor shall provide an account for the shipping to be charged. A Bid Security in the amount of 10 percent must accompany each Bid in accordance to the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in any Bid received. Bids will be received from Bidders who have registered with North Allegheny School District Facilities Department and purchased a complete set of Bidding Documents as a Prime Bidder. Registration is required to ensure Bidders receive Addenda and Bid related correspondence. The Bidding Documents will not be accepted for return at the receipt of Bids.
